Company History
Ramon S. Briceño founded Briceño Food Machinery Inc., in 1991. After 21 years as a Specialized Mechanic/Assembler in the tortilla machine manufacturing business, he decided to establish his own company. Briceño Food Machinery (BFM) opened its doors in Tucson, Arizona in August of 1991.
BFM began business focusing on the repair and refurbishment of tortilla machines and manufacturing sheeter heads. In 1996 BFM formed a corporation and became Briceño Food Machinery Inc. Two years later BFM increased its line to include manufacturing grinders for nixtamal. After 8 years of business in Tucson, Briceño Food Machinery Inc. moved all business production to Tempe, Arizona. As part of the move BFM once again expanded its business to include the manufacturing of corn and flour tortilla ovens.
In October of 2004 BFM took the next step and completed the ETL certification of its sheeter head, corn oven and flour oven.
